Looking for a great cause to support and to have a great time in the process? Dust off your dancing shoes and come join us for a night of fun as we raise awareness and funds for an amazing cause!

The Dream Builders Project is hosting its 4th annual “A Brighter Future for Children” charity gala which benefits the Mark-Taper-Johnny Mercer Artists Program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Each year DBP hosts the amazing charity gala with 100% of net proceeds aiding CHL’s different programs. The Mark Taper- Johnny Mercer Artists Program works to serve children through the use of art tools such as musical instruments, paint, clay, and poetry. These art and music therapies assist in alleviating anxiety, aide in psychological support, and offer an outlet of creative self-expression for children recovering from illness or injury. This program provides an alternative form of treatment aside from the traditional use of medicine, to help heal the whole child.

Sounds like an amazing program, right? We think so too.

With the red carpet opening at 6:30, our charity Gala will take place next week on Thursday, March 9th, 2017.

Held at the Taglyan Complex, the gala will host over 350 tastemakers, industry leaders, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and a number of celebrity guests for an exquisite evening of fun and excitement all for a great cause. Some of our special guests and sponsors include Tom Malloy , Joseph Reitman , Tiffany Michelle, Ellen Hollman, Southwest Airlines, Pure Barre, Tito’s Vodka, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Total Wine and More, and Otterbox. Local sponsors include, but are not limited to, The London West Hollywood, The Four Seasons Westlake Village, The Magic Castle, The Lash Bar LA, Sidecar Doughnuts, Eat Naked LA, and Hollywood Power Yoga.

Events of the evening include a catered dinner, hor d’oeuvres, an open bar, live music , a celebrity poker tournament, live and silent auction(shopping yay!), live art gallery and much, much more!

Special entertainment for the evening includes pop and country singer Kirsten Arian and She Is, a nonprofit dance group comprised of young girls who are survivors of sexual abuse and human trafficking. This nonprofit organization provides a supportive environment for survivors, made up young girls ages ranging from 11-18. Through dance classes, She Is offers an outlet of healing, self-confidence, self-worth, and inspiration to help young girls who have fallen victim to sexual abuse and human trafficking recover and empower their confidence. What an amazing organization impacting a cause that is very close to the DBP heart.

We are so lucky and honored to have their continued support and their performances for the night.

This is only a taste of what’s to come as we celebrate an amazing program, providing a way to improve the health of children in Los Angeles.

If you have an appreciation for the love of arts and helping children as much as we do , then please join us on March 9th  as we celebrate a great cause and work to help improve the lives of many children! For ticket sales please go to www.BFFC2017.eventbrite.com!
