On May 21st, 2016, The Dream Builders Project took its third annual trip to the Eunime Orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. During this action packed one-day trip, the DBP staff brought requested personal and sanitary supplies, food, medical supplies, and remodeling tools for revamping the orphanage.
Staff and volunteers left Los Angeles at 6AM and arrived in Tijuana around 9AM. After spending the morning at playing with the kids at the orphanage, the team took the kids to Peter Piper Pizza, where they played games with the children and experienced first-hand the great work being done by the staff.
Eunime Orphanage cares for 27 children affected by HIV and AIDS between the ages of 2 and 17. We are accepting monetary and product donations in order to provide the children with the following supplies:
During last year’s visit, the kids were very enthusiastic to show The Dream Builders Project team around, proudly pointing out their bedrooms and favorite toys. Observing how happy and joyful these kids truly are made everyone’s hearts sing. Most of the children at Eunime have been raised by the amazing staff with minimal resources. The children have a clean and comfortable environment where they are safe and cared for.
Thank you so much to the Eunime Orphanage for welcoming us into their home. We are so excited to see the kids and staff and provide a small amount of assistance.
